Lanarkshire Mountain Bike Riders

Well folks just thought i would post up re above which were for avid Elixer 7s

got me new bike in Sep 13 and couldn't ride it properly until Oct 13 due to my broken wrist, by December i got a grinding noise from the rear of the bike and when I checked the original pads were almost done, OK 2 months from an original set not too good but hey ho so fitted a set of red Kevlar Super star pads on the back in the middle of December, guess what, coming down omega man this afternoon i heard a hell of a noise when breaking got home cleaned and lubed the bike then checked the rear pads, nothing, nout, nada, zilch down to the metal nothing left, roughly a month out a set of pads, very poor so back to disco brakes for me, as i have used them on all my bikes, shimano brakes, formula brakes and old juicy 5s and never problem with wear the worst out a set was 4 months and in some case more than a year
